I'm waiting for my riveting partner to give me a hand to finish off the 4 ribs in the left wing. I grabbed the parts for the left aileron today, clecoed together, matched drilled, final drilled, deburred, cleaned and primed.
The skin was dimpled and then the stiffeners were back riveted in place. I set the first two rivets closest to the trailing edge first and then did the other side the same way...easier to rivet that way.
I also drilled the counter balance for the necesary holes in the leading edge and in the nose rib. You need to make sure yu have teh ribs the right side up for the ailerons.
